Review Part – 1 [For Salman Khan Fans]

Salman Khan is so awesome that he makes any movie legendary by just appearing in it. And Dabangg is another feather added to his cap. The movie starts with a bang and it keeps on banging all over and under. Dabangg has got each and every ingredient needed by a typical hindi movie lover – Salman Khan’s Dance (which he does so many times in the movie), stylish action and great music made complete with a sizzling item number.

No words can describe the performance of Salman Khan. He is so dazzling through out the movie that you will hardly notice anybody else in the movie. He even makes the new girl seem prettier than what she actually is. The music is good but it distracts your attention away from Salman, so not upto the mark.

Overall, Dabangg is the best movie ever made, the greatest gift to the world from Salman Khan. Just watch it again and again.

P.S. – Salman Fans can stop reading now…the rest of the post is just some blabbering….

Review Part – 2[For Humans]

Dabangg is what we call a complete masala movie with good marketing strategy which will definitely make it successful on the box office. The movie has got no dull moment and you will truly enjoy it if you can easily leave your brain outside the theater before entering.

Salman Khan is all over the movie and you can hardly notice anybody else, as they are just there to fill the blanks. Salman’s unsuccessful and ridiculous attempt to play the role of a ‘UP ke bhaiya’, will bug you for some 10-15 minute and after that you will just give up. The new girl did her part well (of looking pretty all the time and speaking the 10 one line dialogues given to her). Other dudes are negligible.

The music is decent and 1-2 songs are too good. Action is too Rajnikant style and too violent. The story has got only one aim to keep showing Salman in every scene and the direction is okay. The best parts of the movie were already shown in the trailer and the rest is just some more Salman Khan.

Overall, the movie will entertain you like any other masala movie just don’t try to use your brains too much. Worth a watch, and since it is a “dabangg” return of masala movie genre, it may end up doing decent business.

P.S.- Salman tries to dance at every possible opportunity but Pappu can’t dance sala….
