DIY Free Keyboard Cover to Keep Dust Out

Build a super cheap cover for your desktop keyboard. It would take you 5-10 minutes, and the raw materials needed are: two sheets of paper (please use paper which is already printed on at least one side and not needed), some glue and a postcard from the junk promotional snail mails that you get.

I just placed the two sheets side by side width wise, and glued them at the center, then I folded the top and the side edges of the sheets to fit the keyboard profile. Your basic keyboard cover is ready. To fold the top edge you would have to cut small portion using scissor or blade. If you try to lift the cover from its center, it is too soft and would fold. So we can stiffen the cover a bit by sticking strips cut from the postcard like this:

And the finished keyboard cover would look something like this.

You can try your own improvisations to make it look better.
