You can install Adobe Air on Ubuntu 9.10 or Fedora 12.0 by downloading the installer from Adobe’s website. You would need this to install Simplify Media viewer on Ubuntu. Save the installer to disk, and change the permission to make it executable by executing this command in terminal.
chmod +x AdobeAIRInstaller.bin
Run the installer by executing:
sudo ./AdobeAIRInstaller.bin
Click on Finish to complete the installation.

Once you have installed Adobe Air, installing the Media Viewer is not difficult. You just have to use the Adobe Air installer from the Applications menu.
